Gray Matters Brain Cancer Foundation has issued a $20,000 research grant to Dr. Hideho Okada of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. Gray Matters Brain Cancer Foundation has issued a $70,000 research grant to Dr. Rameen Beroukhim of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This grant will be used to further Dr. Beroukhim's studies in determining if heterogeneity in differentiation states within Glioblastoma models determined the response to a large number of compounds, and whether these differentiation states can be effectively modulated to enhance drug sensitivity. The Gray Matters Brain Cancer Foundation has issued a $10,000 grant to The National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) to be part of their research grant initiatives. This contribution will be directly allocated to Glioblastoma research as part of a NBTS grant given to a researcher working within an academic research institution focusing specifically on Glioblastomas.
